Air Compressor Accessories

We offer a range of industrial compressor When purchasing an industrial air compressor, several crucial parameters should be taken into account to ensure optimal performance. First and foremost, consider the horsepower and kilowatt (kW) ratings of the compressor, as these dictate its power output and suitability for industrial tasks. Among the various types, scroll, reciprocating, and rotary screw compressors are popular due to their reliability and efficiency. Their sleek designs enhance safety and ease of handling, making them convenient for users. Additionally, these compressors are known for delivering superior performance, making them powerful enough for both commercial and industrial applications. Energy efficiency is another significant factor, as these units consume less power while maintaining efficacy. Furthermore, their maintenance is straightforward and cost-effective, which is an essential consideration for any business looking to minimize operational costs while maximizing productivity.

Oil/Water Separators

Oil/Water Separators

As explained above, any compressed air system produces condensate mixed with oil and other substances. These condensates are removed from the system through purges to prevent them from reaching the point of consumption. This condensate mixture is piped into an oil / water separator as shown in the image (left and above) to filter the condensate in order to dispose of the water and retain the oil with particles in a container to be properly recycled and avoid environmental pollution.

The separator ensures proper filtration of the condensate & reduces operational costs overall. Companies have the legal responsibility to duly manage the contaminated waste.

Air Filter

The reliability of compressed air filtration is paramount to the ongoing fight against problems caused through contamination entering the air system. Contamination in the form of dirt, oil and water can lead to:

  • Pipe scale and corrosion within pressure vessels

  • Damage to production equipment, air motors, air tools, valves and cylinders

  • Premature and unplanned desiccant replacement for adsorption dryers

  • Spoiled product

The filtration range offers various products and grades of filtration to provide peace of mind whatever the air quality requirement. To meet the various requirements, filters are available in three different grades:

  • Type B: General Purpose Protection. It provides particle removal down to 1 micron, including water and oil aerosols.

  • Type C: High Efficiency Oil Removal Filtration & High Efficiency Dust Filtration. Particle removal is down to 0.01 micron, including water and oil aerosols.

  • Type D: Oil vapor and hydrocarbon odor removal, providing a maximum remaining oil content of <0.003 mg/m

  • Type E - General Purpose Dust Filtration, dust particle removal down to 1 micro

Innovative features mean outstanding performance without compromise. With differential pressure that starts low and stays low, these filters offer a solution to applications that demand high performance filtration without the usual high energy running costss..

Water Separators

Water Separators

water separators provide bulk condensed water and liquid oil removal and are used to protect coalescing filters against bulk liquid contamination. Bulk liquids such as condensate, water and liquid oil are removed from the airflow through directional and centrifugal separation. Installed before a coalescing filter, the water separator can provide added protection against bulk liquid contamination enabling the filter to operate more efficiently water separator range can operate across various flow conditions and have been optimised to reduce differential pressure with very low maintenance.

Condensate Drain

compressed air contains impurities such as water, oil and tiny particles which occur naturally in the air around us or which are introduced into the air stream by the compression process, like rust and pipe scale. air treatment products remove these impurities, air dryers, use different technologies to dry the air & remove the water vapour and air filters, remove solid particles.

Once water and particles are removed from the airstream, it's the job of the condensate drain to drain condensate is usually drained into an oil/water separator so that the oil can be disposed of correctly. Only then is the compressed air ready to be used by the production process. The condensate drain is a special type of valve which can run in a variety of ways depending on the type of installation. For example the drain can be set to run on a timer to drain the condensate away at defined intervals, unpowered drains can work without a power source, a compressed air energy saver can be connected to say a light switch which will shut the drain off when the lights are switched out at the end of a shift to avoid pressure losses (read more below).
